A lot of my makeup art is focused on the eyes. I wear bold colours like purples, greens and blues very comfortably. What’s odd is, I am nowhere near as adventurous with lip colour. I am almost scared to put on anything with a hint of colour. Shame on me! I try on colours at home all the time and then chicken out right before I leave the house. My way of thinking has got to change! Lips should get to have fun too, right? Besides, a strong lip takes significantly less time to put on than a bold eye.
My first step to enlightenment is this berry colour, specifically MAC’s Burgundy lip pencil. I’ve worn it out in public several times and it’s finally starting to feel right on my lips. I want to be brave enough to do reds, oranges, browns and purples. It’s only lipstick! What am I afraid of?

I have a bad, bad habit of constantly licking and biting my lips. In the morning, my lips are perfectly lined and all that jazz. By the time noon arrives, it’s a ravaged pitch-patch mess! Bleh.
ooh looks so good! I love your bangs
I just recently got an orange-y lip pencil and it’s so bright it’s hard to get used to. But it’s fun!
